September 11, 2001 – My son just started 4th grade and was getting ready for school, I had been a retired flight attendant for 7 years, my pilot/husband, thank God, was home. We were having breakfast and watching The Today Show when it happened. My husband immediately called his friend Victor Saracini (United Captain) but never got a call back from him. Victor always called him back as soon as possible. They were Navy buddies. Now he and so many others are gone because of hatred and cowardice. My heart goes out to all those who have lost loved ones on that terrible day that we were attacked.
