I flew one of the first flights out of IAH as soon as the airports opened up again. When I was on layover in NRT, I was sitting in the hotel dinning room having lunch before my check in for my flight home to IAH. The whole hotel was decorated in countless numbers of US flags, the employees had hats on with our flag, aprons with our flag, flags on the walls, & US flags just everywhere. Not one Japanese flag was seen anywhere in the hotel or the restaurant. They were honoring us & what we were going through. I remember that it just seemed odd but strangely comforting at the same time.
