I was on a layover in Maui and woke up at 3 am for no apparent reason, turned on the TV and saw ….one airplane had hit the Twin Towers then …a second came??
Called our crew desk and asked , they said another plane was off the radar. I said “what does that
mean?”, “we can’t find it?”
I added “Anyone we know from LAX?” I made no sense, I never gave my name and we all know so many people??
I hung up and cried for hours until our captain called my room 4 hours later..
