When September 11 happened I was sitting in class. Still in high school. Now I have been a Flight Attendant for the past 4 years. What I have learned over the past 10 years has been a sad yet, incredible journey.
My Father worked as a fire fighter for 32 years in MSP. My first thought on that day was about the
fire fighters and police officers. Please keep in mind I was only 16. Now as a flight attendant I
can only image the stress, fear and strength that these men and woman went through. As I learned more about the aviation industry as well as FA duties. The more I understood the importance of what happen, not just to the fire fighters, policemen, EMTs but, the flight crews as well. I have learned from others that they forget about the flight crews, as I didn’t think about 10 years ago. Now my mind is focused on everyone on that day. Listening to senior FAs tell me what they went through. I have learned so much from 16 now at 26. Sad yet incredible journey.
